Booze for the masses

We're planning the alcohol for the wedding. So now is the time to comment on what kind of liquor/beer/wine you want to see at the reception.

1. What is your favorite mixed drink?

2. Favorite shot?

3. Favorite beer?

The Location is Set

We've put the money down on our reception site which is also our ceremony site which is also our honeymoon suite location. It's a bed and breakfast just off of grand river by the airport. It's called the Rosewood Inn (http://www.rosewoodinnbandb.com). We haven't seen the garden where we will be married yet because it's covered in snow, but we've been reassured it's beautiful.

Technology

Since both Casey and I blog on this site, I decided that I am going to type in blue to signify my posts.

We've been back in MI two weeks now and things are going well except that we don't have jobs yet. Although there are prospects, it is scary. No income with lots of expenses....that's a nightmare.

I actually had my first dream about the wedding and it wasn't a good one. Oh well it wasn't real, so I'm not going to let it bother me. Unfortunately the reality of losing most of my wedding info was reality. Last week the USB that I keep all of my wedding info on got bent and we weren't able to recover the info. I should have had an electronic backup. It means I no longer have lots of inspirational ideas that I've found from hours of websurfing, but more sadly than that is I had written my vows and made several other things. Crap! Shame on me for putting it all in one place.

It has been so nice to have 2 weeks off of work though. We've been so busy though that I have hardly noticed. I have got to spend time with quite a few friends which is priceless. Glad to be back in Michigan. Great lakes, great times.

Back Where I Come From

For anyone who doesn't know, Amelia and I are officially Michiganders again. We arrived at my moms house at 8am Sunday morning. It was a long trip that included having to bungee our cooler to the top of the tonneau cover, getting pulled over by the US Border Patrol, getting caught in a blizzard in Missouri, and 30 plus hours of driving without stopping (including food we just went through drive-thu's), and a whole lot of trying to sleep in a cluttered truck cab. But we made it, and now we are unpacking and trying to get organized. After catching up on some much needed sleep we'll have to get some people together and get some drinks. Till next time...
