It's a real pain in the ass trying to plan a wedding from 2000 miles away, but we're working on it. We're sending our moms to a couple of reception sites, and hopefully their input will help us make our decision. We are considering a place that is in Rochester (near Detroit)... would be a problem for anyone? Having to drive 1.5 hours each way, and most likely getting a hotel room for the night can be a pain. Hopefully we will get the site nailed down soon.

On a different note... does anyone know a good band? I want a live band instead of a dj but finding one, especially while living out here, is no easy task.

Aloha! Amelia and I just got back from a little vacation in Hawai'i. We did some pretty sweet things, such as climbing that volcanic mountain you see in the background of this picture, parasailing, visited the Pearl Harbor Memorial, the Dole Plantation, the location of the filming of the Jurassic Park movies, rented a jeep and drove around the entire island of O'ahu, and also did a lot of relaxing on the beach. I'll put up as many pictures as I can when I get a chance.
