Planning from AZ
It's a real pain in the ass trying to plan a wedding from 2000 miles away, but we're working on it. We're sending our moms to a couple of reception sites, and hopefully their input will help us make our decision. We are considering a place that is in Rochester (near Detroit)... would be a problem for anyone? Having to drive 1.5 hours each way, and most likely getting a hotel room for the night can be a pain. Hopefully we will get the site nailed down soon.
On a different note... does anyone know a good band? I want a live band instead of a dj but finding one, especially while living out here, is no easy task.

detroit is not too far:-) plan for what you and casey want to make your day amazing. i can imagine it is not easy to plan from the ground up from AZ but look at it this way, you and Casey will get to do all the fun stuff like taste cake... not look at rooms!

I am going to have a bd party on Oct 21 to see a band. Its my mission to have fun while interviewing bands. Its the least I can do. rofl
