My Turn
We're trying to plan the wedding in Michigan from Arizona....not easy. By "we" I of course mean me. Casey says he's helping. I will let him think that. Actually he did come with me the other day to David's Bridal. I just showed up at the bridal store to look around. I decided to try on a few dresses (even though its a traditional no-no in front of the groom). Don't ever do that! Always make an appointment to try on dresses...walk-ins are pieces of crap. I didn't know about all of the unwritten bridal store rules. For example in every store I've ever shopped, if you find an item you want to try on...you take it off the rack and up to the salesperson. I picked out a dress and asked this guy to try it on..."that's not how we do it". Plus I had this bride next to me with her mom and friends with "Team Kelly" shirts on. I thought about kicking her and then walking away nonchalantly. My gown search is still ongoing...but next time I'll make a reservation.

David's Bridal is sucky. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly over the dress industry. That's where I got my dress and the bridesmaid dresses, but only after I'd exhausted every other option. And "Team Kelly" just goes to show how ridiculous ppl get over weddings. Hang in there :o)

dress shopping can be so crazy. dont be afraid to shop at smaller local bridal shops too. they can often be very attentive and not have as many bridezillas running around:-) good luck!

I was lucky... I had my mom's dress! But I did look for other dresses and had a very BAD experience at David's Bridal. Let me tell you, Google can be your best friend. You might be surprised at what you can find. Also, JCrew, where I got my bridesmaid dresses, has some wedding dresses. So does Ann Taylor :) Good luck, darlin'!

We should get Team Kelly shirts for Kelly Kelly. Not for the wedding, but just because.
